Couple's DreamMaker Bath Is Even Better Than Imagined
Remodeling the Bathroom
John and Linda Roberts of Canyon have nothing but great things to say about their experience with DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen.
WHY REMODEL? "It was just time," Linda says, about their master bathroom. "The wallpaper was outdated and peeling off, the cabinets were old and cheap, the floor looked dirty even when clean, and the shower and tub were just way too small."
With a tall husband, and grandkids inching past 6-feet, Linda hoped to have the shower's soffit removed and the ceiling set at a normal height.
WHY DREAMMAKER? Linda took a liking to the company's interior designer, Heidi Wyatt, at the Amarillo Home Show. Upon deciding to hire DreamMaker, Linda told Heidi, "I'm only doing this once! So, I've got to love it!"
WHAT'S DIFFERENT? The remodel increased the bathroom's size without changing its footprint. The tiny shower and tub were exchanged for a tall frameless glass shower and the soffit ceiling was removed to add extra height; two identical vanities were built with alderwood cabinets and granite countertops; entryways were widened and the old wallpaper replaced with fresh paint; and last, but not least, a new heated ceramic tile floor was installed - Linda's favorite feature!
HOW LONG DID IT TAKE? DreamMaker estimated four to five weeks, but completed the job in four weeks and one day.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? Linda says, "It's gorgeous. We really, really, really love it! The only thing I would have done different is... I would've had done it 25 years ago, so I'd have longer to enjoy it!"
