Remodeling a Kitchen
"No complaints!" says Tim and Barbara Lite of Amarillo, about their experience with DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen.
The couple invited DreamMaker into their newly-purchased home in Timber Creek around this time last year with the goal of having just the kitchen updated. Looking at the finished project though, you would see that the "night and day difference" extends past the kitchen to include a much-needed change on its perimeter.
"We were not sure what to do about the three-sided fireplace," Barbara says. "It had ugly green tiles underneath that we didn't like. I was just thinking out loud one day, before DreamMaker even started on the kitchen, and I mentioned how I sure would like to fix it. Steve (DreamMaker owner) said his guys could do it, and I said, "Really?"
With that news, the Lites let DreamMaker begin their "kitchen remodel" with new tiles for the fireplace travertine, to be exact to match the backsplash selected for the kitchen. Once that was finished, the full kitchen remodel was underway.
Brand new granite countertops replaced the
old formica surfaces and custom-built cupboards
were hung above. Barbara says that Tim approves
of the cabinetry.
"In some of our previous homes, we had
cabinets built, so Tim knows quality when he
sees it. We love our DreamMaker cabinets, along
with everything else they did."
The Lites appreciated how thoughtful, polite and hardworking the DreamMaker crew was. They even liked their choice of radio station.
"It's funny - we had just moved to Amarillo
and didn't know much about the area. I was
looking for a good radio station when a worker
suggested 100.9. They turned on The Eagle and
I was hooked!"
